Martin consulted the Ambi Labs team in Hong Kong with their crowdfunding campaign of the Ambi Climate product that raised $115,000 on Kickstarter. Ambi Climate is an internet of things device that makes your air conditioner smart. He also assisted in extensive market research around the product’s launch strategy for 2015.

// Founder of Phonejoy, Hardware Gaming Startup (2011-2014)

In 2011, Martin started Phonejoy on a loan of about $20,000. Phonejoy is an expandable game controller that you can wrap around your smartphone to gain physical button controls for better mobile gaming. Over its course the business had attracted over $1m in external funding and generated over $250,000 in sales in 2014. In mid-2014, Martin exited from the company.

Throughout his tenure as Founder & CEO at Phonejoy, Martin drew many painful lessons from product development delays to poor investor management, but also shared great experiences such a first product rollout, closing deals and creating a wonderful brand that our fans truly loved.
